Rabat-Salé Airport lies in Salé, across the Bou Regreg river, roughly ten kilometres from the centre of Rabat: Wikivoyage (FR) says 10 km, Wikivoyage (DE) 9 km and Wikipedia (DE) 12 km. According to Wikivoyage (EN) there are daily flights to Paris, Brussels and a number of Moroccan cities, but most tourists fly into Casablanca and continue by train. An AE bus links the airport with Rabat Ville and Rabat Agdal stations; white taxis at the exit quote high prices, while metered blue petits taxis cost much less, per Wikivoyage (EN). From Casablanca the train takes about 1 hour, and Tangier is 1 hour 20 away on the Al Boraq high-speed line, which stops at Rabat Agdal, according to Wikivoyage (EN, DE).

Approximate distances and durations from Wikivoyage (EN, FR, DE) and Wikipedia (DE); timetables change with the season, so check them before you travel. We do not quote fares.

Its medina and a set of historic and modern sites are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, listed in 2012 according to Wikipedia (FR, ES, DE).
